How a live tutor is different from a chatbot
A chatbot hands you a wall of text and leaves you to read it. A live tutor goes one step at a time. It explains, writes it down, and asks you to try the next part. If you get it wrong, it works out what you were thinking and tries a smaller step. If you get it right, it moves on. You're doing the thinking the whole way through, which is what makes it stick.
Why the whiteboard matters
Hearing the reason while you watch the step being written is how a good teacher works at a board. The voice explains why, the board keeps the record, and the marker shows you exactly where to look. Circles, arrows and underlines land on the word being spoken, so you never have to hunt for what it means.

What is an AI live tutor?

Is the AI live tutor free?
You can watch and answer the lessons on this page with no account. A free account gets one lesson on any topic you choose. Pro includes about an hour a month, and Ultimate about three.
What subjects can it teach?
Most school and college subjects. It has been tested most on math, physics, chemistry and biology, where writing things out helps the most.
Can I interrupt it?
Yes. With your mic on, start talking and it stops, answers you, and carries on from where it was. If your speakers leak into the mic, use the Raise hand button or wear headphones.
Does it just give me the answer?
No. It sets up each step and asks you to do it. If you're stuck, it shows one more step and gives you a hint, so you finish the problem yourself.
Can it teach from my homework or notes?
Yes. Snap a photo of a question and it teaches from that, or open a study set and it teaches from your own notes.
Does it work on my phone?
It works in the browser on a laptop or a phone. It isn't in the iPhone app yet.
Do you keep my voice?
No. A small detector runs in your browser and nothing leaves your computer until you speak. Only those seconds are sent to be turned into text, and the recording isn't kept.
