How it works
Add your finals
The subject and the day of each exam. Today counts down to every one of them.
Add your notes
Class notes, PDFs, slides, photos of handouts, a YouTube lecture, or record a class. StudyPrime makes the flashcards, a quiz and a practice final from them.
Do today's one thing
Learn the material, then review the cards, then a practice final 3 days out. The "Am I ready?" score shows when you are.
How to study for finals
- Start with the date, not the chapter. Count the days to each exam and plan backwards. Three weeks of short sessions beat one long night, and you can see early which subject needs the most time.
- Test yourself instead of rereading. Rereading notes feels productive, but pulling an answer out of your own memory is what makes it stick. Flashcards and practice questions do exactly that.
- Spread the reviews out. Seeing a card again just before you'd forget it is the cheapest way to remember it on exam day. That's what spaced repetition schedules for you.
- Take a full practice final. Two or three days before, sit a practice final with the clock running and no notes. Then spend your remaining time on what you got wrong, not on what you already know.
- Sleep the night before. Your memory sorts the day's studying while you sleep. An all-nighter trades that away for a few extra hours of tired reading.
